Full 6-Day Itinerary Peru Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Lima
When arriving to Lima, you’ll be picked up from the airport by our local staff that takes you straight to your hotel. Once there, take the chance to relax and explore the nearby places on your own.

Day 2: Oasis of Huacachina
Visit one of Peru’s oldest distilleries and taste the iconic Pisco, the national drink. Then, get your adrenaline pumping with a thrilling sand buggy ride and sandboarding adventure at the magical Huacachina Oasis, all while watching a breathtaking desert sunset.

Day 3: Cusco City
Embark is one of the most important cultural and archaeological adventure of the city, combined of Inca and colonial architecture, which has as a starting point in your hotel in Cusco, during the tour we will stop at the main square, San Pedro Market and archaeological centers such as Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo.

Day 4: Sacred Valley
The Sacred Valley tour starts at 6:40 am, it is a memorable experience where we will tour some of the most important and beautiful sites of the Sacred Valley, such as: Chincheros, a town of Inca and colonial legacy. We will enjoy a traditional weaving demonstration where local weavers exhibit ancient dyeing and weaving techniques. Moray, a unique archaeological site where the Incas experimented with different microclimates for agriculture. Salt mines of Maras: thousands of salt wells that are still exploited by local families. Ollantaytambo: A living Inca village that is still inhabited and finally we will visit a local house where chicha is prepared from fermented corn, an authentic experience that connects you with the Andean culture.
Return to Cusco or you can continue your journey to Aguas Calientes, from where you will visit Machu Picchu the next day.

Day 5: Machu Picchu
You will visit the famous Sacred City of the Incas, the crystal city of the Inca civilization.
Our tour starts very early in the morning to take the first bus to Machu Picchu, once at the entrance of Machu Picchu, our guide will take you through the majestic Inca citadel during a tour of approximately 3 hours. You will visit the highlights of Machu Picchu in 3 hours. In addition, you will have time to explore on your own, take pictures and enjoy the incredible views of the mountainous landscape.
After finishing the tour, you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. There you can relax, walk around the village, visit local handicraft shops or enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants.
Finally you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Once you arrive at Ollantaytambo train station, our representative will be waiting for you to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 5: Rainbow Mountain
Enjoy your last day of your expedition in the Andes with a guided visit to the Rainbow Mountain. Our trip starts very early in the morning from Cusco, the drive in our private van can take around 3 hours to the start of the trek. The hike is challenging due to the altitude and elevation, and usually takes between 1.5 and 2 hours, you also have the option of renting horses.
You will enjoy the breathtaking views without the crowds and take memorable photos of the rainbow mountain.

- Transportation: Transportation is included in the entire journey, both bus and train, from the point of departure to the point of return. If you have any suggestions or preference for a train service, please let us know. Additionally, your round trip bus ticket from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu will be included.
- Train tickets: The train tickets are in regular expeditions tourist class round trip, if you are interested in upgranding to the vistadome train, it will be $75 one way and $125 round trip.
- Meals: Meals as indicated in the itinerary above (vegetarian and vegan options available).

- First aid: Our team is trained in first aid. In case of emergency we follow an emergency plan to provide the fastest possible attention.

- Tips: Tips are always welcome, and should be based on your travel satisfaction (not mandatory).
- Travel insurance: Travel insurance is recommended, but not mandatory. Normally many people get sick with altitude sickness, so we recommend adapting 1 day or 2 days before starting a trek.

The 6-day Peru Tour is available only by group service (from 2 persons). Then, we need minimum 2 persons to open this service for you.

This small-group journey is guaranteed to operate with just two guests.
Notice that We travel charges a fee of 5%, which we ask the client to cover since it’s due to the use of its service. This tax is just for online deposits so that you will pay the remaining in cash (the briefing day in Cusco) without charges.
Student Discount:
Student discounts apply to anyone who has a valid UNIVERSITY STUDENT CARD at the time of the trek or who is 17-years-old or younger. For those using an university student card to receive the discount, we need to see a copy of the card at booking.
